concrete sheet: 6ft.*2.9ft.*0.5in. with a Color Engraving on concrete.                                                        Hiroshima

From East to West, the society matrix is complex.
Religion (The Cena by Vinci) and nuclear power (Hiroshima) can account
for the destructive matrix of our modern society.

This paradox of the hope and the betrayal, symbolizes not only
the genius of the human being but also his excess...
The Cena and Hiroshima are two constructions of the human being
which can also destruct him.

Inspired by the man's shadow, that was imprinted on the ground during
the Hiroshima blast, a pixelated image of the Cena is embedded in the
thin slab of concrete using a Color Engraving process.
This image is engraved in the concrete sheet as a palimpsest of the
human history.
