In reaction to the development of virtual art and life in the internet, I create a new planet: SECOND MOON. SECOND MOON was born on December 24th, 2008 in SECOND LIFE as an avatar of reality (http://slurl.com/secondlife/extralab/85/133/119). |

| There are many ways of apprehending this new planet: - numerical In this way SECOND MOON exists as a transcription of my imagination. SECOND MOON is digitally mapped from photos of actual Crater Concrete. - verbal Patrick Baudry (Astronaut), Pierre Cornette de Saint Cyr (President of the Palais de Tokyo, Paris Contemporaneous Art Center), and Bruno Robert (Research Director of Atomic Center), each wrote a text on this new universe (cf. chapter "last words" of this website). - tactile The surface of SECOND MOON is dividable in square feet (1ft*1ft): the CONCRETE SQUARE FEET. Six CONCRETE SQUARE FEET (lunar crater concrete tiles) will be dispersed first virtually, then actually. In 2009, a map will be drawn displaying the places where each of these six CONCRETE SQUARE FEET have gone to, as well as their function. To know where my feet have gone… |
